Nearby the swirling water from the coast,Gaikotsu's nap was disturbed by a loud
blast hitting the sand around him.Looking up,he saw a metallic fox with his arm pointed at him,paws opened to show the smoking blaster.The robot said in a mechanic-sounding voice, "Surrender,rebel,and you will be spared.'
Gaikotsu glared at the robot,while summoning some sea water to whirl around himself. What rebel?He never joined a rebellion at the first place!"What do you mean?
I didn't do anything wrong,you can't attack me!"He growled.
The robot replied, "I'm project 00684 KYB.My human creators told me that the animals here changed, and such animals,like you, are considered rebels.My mission is to eliminate them.Now surrender,or face fighting me."
KYB cocked his cannon's barrel,to show that he's serious. Gaikotsu's eyes narrowed, and he flung the water blasts at KYB,which the robot dodged quite easily. "I'm not going to get down without a fight!" Gai yelled. KYB quickly opened up his back and revealed the cannons in it,then fired it at Gai.Gai called up some geysers to block
the blasts just in time.
The fight lasted for quite a long time,with the two fighting from to coast to somewhere near the palm trees surrounding the beach. Later on,both stopped. Gai was trapped between a large pile of rocks,heaving for breath and he was too far from the sea to use his powers. On the other hand, KYB was still going fresh, aside from some scratches on his armor. He stood a few paces away from Gai's trap, saying,"It's all over,rebel. It's a foolish act to struggle."
Gai was about to say "No,I may have lost,but I'm not going to get killed!" when he saw KYB crank open his metal jaw. A cannon glinted inside it,and it seemed to be charging up. Gai's eyes widened and he tried to drag himself out from his trap, but the rocks were too heavy and large to move, and he was weak from the fight.
KYB shifted a bit to ensure a sure hit,then fired the cannon. Instantly it hit Gai, knocking him out. Sastified that his work is done,KYB walked away,leaving the now-unconscious dog lying on the rocks.
Meanwhile,a shadowy figure slipped out from his hiding place,and padded up to where Gai was trapped.....

Here's a story about the battle between Gai and KYB!!Since KYB haven't met with Sura, he still follows his mission to pwn the 'rebels'.As you can see,Gai's only unconscious when KYB left,and that 'shadowy figure' is the real culprit to Gai's death.
