Sunaraashi currently lives in the desert,and makes a living by being a desert
bandit--stealing the rich...and keeping it to himself.He once made a vow to never steal from normal travelers,only trading goods from caravans.He thinks that traders won't die because of losing a few trading goods,but what travelers bring could be essential to their survival.
Because of this,Rashi had few chances to make his move and steal stuff.But what he steals in one go is usually enough fro him to last the days till his next raid.If he's desperate for money and items,and I mean VERY desperate,he might steal from travelers,but he will only steal a bit from everyone to ensure his victims survive.

Rashi controls the sand,which is useful as he lives in the desert.He could shift the sand around to get into thinks underneath the sand,fling chunks of hardened sand and create small sandstorms.Shifting the sand's probably his main way of getting food and water,but he sometimes hunt for small creatures too.
